The Concept 2 BikeErg is the most recent addition to the Concept 2 brand’s line of cardio equipment. Developed in 2017 to simulate the continuous motion of cycling, it has become the preferred choice for exercise enthusiasts over the last decade. This is largely due to Crossfit’s introduction into the fitness world.
One of the key features of the BikeErg is its resistance dampener, which is consistent across all bikes, ensuring a uniform workout experience. This is made possible by Concept 2’s meticulous attention to detail. The resistance is provided by a fanned flywheel that captures air, with the dampener adjusting the amount of air passing through the flywheel housing. The settings range from 1 to 10, with higher settings providing more resistance.
The BikeErg’s PM5 monitor is capable of recording a wide range of metrics, such as distance, time, calories burned, and watts generated. When paired with the ErgData app and a heart rate monitor, it can even capture heart rate data. The monitor can be adjusted to fit the user’s height and reach, and workout data can be easily saved via USB.
Maintenance of the BikeErg is simple, with self-maintenance being easy to perform. Checking for tight screws and cleaning the saddle, handlebars, step pad, and flywheel.
Concept 2 offers a fully transferable warranty within the warranty period. Frame parts are covered for 5 years, while all other parts are covered for 2 years. Assembly of the BikeErg is a breeze, taking only 20-30 minutes with the help of the included instructions.

Warranty Coverage
This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. If a defect arises and a valid claim is received within the warranty period, KINTA will either repair the product at no charge, using new or refurbished replacement parts, or replace the product with a new one.
Exclusions
This warranty does not cover damage caused by accident, misuse, abuse, neglect, unauthorised modification, improper installation, or any other circumstances not directly arising out of defects in materials or workmanship. The warranty also does not cover incidental, consequential, or indirect damages.
