Gym Sled Harness
The Kinta gym sled harness comes in an adjustable one size fits all system. Easily slip the harness over your head and thread the straps through the double D rings to adjust to your desired size. Any excess strap can be easily stowed away in the foam stowage panels.
The construction of the sled harness is a webbing threaded structure to provide strength throughout the harness and all steel fasteners to stop wear, unlike plastic fasteners and anchors. All stitching is cross-stitched to prevent fraying and extend the overall useful life of the gym sled harness.
The sled harness kit includes the required carabiners and a 9-foot strap to attach to the sled.
These harnesses can be used for pulling the sled forward with a steel anchor attached to the rear of the harness and can also be used to drag a gym sled backwards with the steel anchor attached to the front of the harness. To change your direction of movement, simply unhook the carabiner from one anchor and place it on to the other.
Variations of exercises you can do with a gym sled harness:
- Forward Sled Drag:Β If you are someone who is training for running or wants an extra kick in their cardio. Instead of simply pulling the weight while your body stands still, youβll be dragging the weight behind you, walking to a certain point. This is a great movement to develop the hip flexors.
- Reverse Sled Drag: This variation is one of the closest things to the standard sled pull exercise. The big difference here is that, instead of pulling the sled with your arms, youβll be dragging it with you as you walk. It is an excellent movement to strengthen your quads and hip extensors. Itβs also a great exercise to help develop the small muscles and strengthen the tendons around the knees, which assists in the recovery of knee related injuries or can be used to prevent injury to that area.
