What is the difference between a standard iron cast kettlebell and a competition kettlebell?
The difference is that competition kettlebells maintain the same shape no matter the weight. ie, a 8kg kettlebell is the same size and shape as a 32kg kettlebell. This means the technique used when you first start lifting and swinging kettlebells remains the same, rather than having to change your technique as the kettlebell increases in weight and in size.
This mostly becomes apparent when you change from lighter iron cast kettlebells with a smaller handle to a heavier kettlebell with a larger handle.
