7.5kg Technique Training Barbell
Designed for novice weight lifters, kids/teens or the elderly. Training barbells or technique barbells are visually similar to an Olympic barbell.
We highly recommend a training barbell for anyone starting to employ resistance training with barbells in their fitness regime. They have also proven to be an effective barbell for personal trainers taking who are taking elderly members for resistance classes.
A 28mm diameter shaft with a maximum load-bearing capacity of 75kg.
Our training barbells are far lighter than that of normal Olympic barbells, this reduction in weight allows someone learning to lift weights the ability to use barbells with similar characteristics to that of a normal Olympic lifting barbell.
The barbell knurling is medium/volcano for great grip without being too aggressive. And has a single Olympic lifting grip marking.
The barbell sleeves are 50mm in diameter to fit Olympic weight plates. The internal components feature a single brass bushing in each sleeve to reduce friction between the shaft and sleeve and promote longevity.
