Single Prong Weight Lifting Belt
The Single Prong Weight Lifting Belt is constructed from genuine leather hide layered to 10mm thick and 100mm tall, this belt is made to last. It features a heavy-duty single-prong steel buckle secured with 6 rivets and a loop to secure the tongue of the belt. The weight lifting belt also has three layers of leather with a fourth inner layer of felt for added comfort.
The lifting belt has 10 sizing holes punched through it to maximize sizing options and accommodate changes in waist shape over time. The Kinta logo is stamped into the leather on the rear of the belt, which gives it a premium appearance.
So how does a single prong weight lifting belt work?
A weight-lifting belt supports the core of the wearer by creating an external solid structure to brace against. When muscles brace to lift a heavy object, the intra-abdominal muscles tense and support the bone structure of the spine by creating a hard surface to be fixed against. However, on the exterior wall, muscles have nothing to brace against, causing them to work very hard to maintain rigidity to support the spine. When a weight lifting belt is applied firmly around the torso, it decreases the stress on the intra-abdominal muscles by about 40%, allowing them to brace for weights that far exceed their unsupported potential and last significantly longer before fatiguing. Overall, an improved athletic performance can be achieved with less effort exerted.
