K60 Power Rack
Kinta made this power rack to perfectly suit the home gym user. Accounting for the need for space efficiency, long-lasting durable equipment, the functionality of commercial power racks, and budget-friendly, this squat rack hits the nail on the head.
First, the footprint of the base power rack is 213cm high to accommodate low-hanging ceilings. The width is 120cm, 5cm narrower than commercial power racks. The depth of the rack is 130cm, which is narrower again than commercial power racks but still has plenty of space to perform squats, bench presses or shoulder press movements from within the rack.
As a home gym power rack, it will unlikely see the same frequency of use or accumulate the same weight as a commercial gym squat rack. Therefore, we could work with lighter steel tubing of 60mm x 60mm x 2mm thick. This is sufficient for a home gym to load up 300kg internally on the upright posts.
Additional components of the power rack include a multi-grip pull-up bar with a soft knurling for grip. The multi-grip pull-up bar allows you to perform supinated, neutral, and pronated grip pull-ups.
Resistance bands pegs have a great application in strength and conditioning training.
Safety arms that slide in through the upright post attachment holes, two pairs of J-hooks for each set of upright posts, and dip bar attachments.
If a larger squat rack power rack is out of the budget, we highly recommend the K60 Power Rack as a budget-friendly alternative.
